I am thrilled to announce that MHS freshman, Nia John (left) won the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Lavender in Mansfield High School's recent production of MATILDA!

In addition, junior Matt Neary (right) won for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Mr. Wormwood.

The awards were announced last night (6/10/19) at the MET Award Ceremony at the Berklee Performing Arts Center in Boston.

This year, we are pleased to be offering reserved seating along with general admission seating.
Reserved seating will provide the ticket holder with an assigned seat (best available) for an additional $1.00 per ticket.
Requests cannot be guaranteed. Tickets purchased in advance will be available for pickup at the door prior to the performance.

 Auditions and rehearsals will take place in the MHS auditorium
$50 Performing Arts Fee (for cast, not crew - if you were in the fall play, you do not have to pay again)

  • Rehearsal Schedule – Mondays 2:15-5 pm, Wednesdays 3-5:15 pm, Thursdays 2:15-5 pm & Sundays 5-9 pm starting Monday, Feb 25th (no rehearsal 4/21/19 or April break except a few rehearsals with leads).
  • Tech week – May 10, 2-9pm, May 12, 2-9pm, May 13, 4:30-9pm, May 14, 4:30-9 pm, May 15 final dress rehearsal 4:30-10 pm.
  • Performance Dates – May 16 @ 7:00 pm; May 17 @ 7:00 pm; May 18 @ 1pm & 7pm, **May 19th 1pm show - strike and cast party following the show. **This is an added performance!!!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of STAGE FRIGHT!
They competed in the Preliminary Round of the METG High School Drama Festival on Sunday, March 3rd at Norwood High School.
The show was selected to advance to the semi final round on March 16th March 16th at Framingham High School, 105 A Street, Framingham, 10:30am!
STAGE FRIGHT was written by MHS senior Serena Dunlap.
Serena also co-directed the play with MHS senior Amanda Holbrook.
