About Us

Diane Pape-Cileno

Diane Pape-Cileno

Mrs. Cileno grew up near Syracuse, NY and migrated east in the 1980’s, just in time to enjoy the Larry Bird era with the Celtics.

She has been a school librarian for many years, and enjoys working with students and teachers on their research projects, and sharing her love of the written word.  Luckily, she has two grown children, who have taught her everything she needed to know about how to be kind and respectful to students, and in her spare time loves to garden, bike, cook, travel and, of course, read.

Getting to know students is her favorite part of her job, followed closely by plotting to read every book in our library!  Her favorite quote is by Henry David Thoreau, “Our life is frittered away by detail…simplify, simplify. Her pet peeve is when students don’t push in their chairs but encourages students to take books off the shelf, and not worry about putting them back.
