The School Counseling department officially begins the college planning process in the winter of a student's junior year through the use of classroom-based presentations and seminars. These presentations will continue throughout the fall of their senior year.
Mansfield High School utilizes the NAVIANCE program for post-secondary planning research and career exploration during the student's 9th-11th grade years. This information is presented through the use of classroom-based presentations and seminars.
During 12th grade, student's use this platform to request all school-based materials - i.e. transcripts and letters of recommendation - for college. Counselors continue to explore post-secondary options with students through the use of classroom presentations, assemblies, and one-on-one sessions.
