Out-of-District Trainings, Conferences & Workshops

Professional development held outside of the district is offered from various state and private organizations. 

They can be held during the school day, evening or on the weekends. 

Completion often, but not always, results in receiving PDPs directly from the organization or facilitator holding the offering.

I would like to attend an out-of-district professional development. 

What are my next steps?

  1. Complete the "print friendly" PD approval form by filling in the fields on the website OR click "view original document" and download the form onto your computer. When you open the document, it will be a fillable form. (DO NOT use the download transcript option)

  2. To Print or Save as a PDF: click the "Print PDF" button found in the column to the right.

  3. Submit it to your Building Administrator with a description of the PD.

  4. Your school's office will forward to Central Office for approval.

  5. Once your request has been reviewed, Central Office will contact you with next steps.

  6. The staff member is responsible for registering and will be reimbursed once attendance has been completed.

Allow 1-2 weeks for this process to be completed.
